  the mountainview station in ossipee is just great, but...
  
  recently somebody skidded off the street and smashed into the mountainview station.
  
  damage - big time!     ouch!!!
  
  as of june 2019 the mountainview is closed for an extensive repair & renovation.

  They're back and it's better than ever!!!   After a devastating incident,  a car drove in to the restaurant.  Repairs have been done.  The front has a facelift and the people that make your visit here are all glad to be back and will be really glad you see you come through the door.  The beer is still cold, the wine is wining, and the food is delectable!
  So head over to petty coat junction.....wait wrong decade... So head over to Mountainview Station Restaurant....you'll be glad you did:)

  Quaint and terrific. This old railroad station turned restaurant is a rare find and worth a try.  We both had the scallops and they were so fresh and sweet, it was as if they were right off the boat. The sides were also tasty and although we didn't have dessert, what we saw looked good. Service was friendly and they had 6 choices of craft beers.

  Great food and even better service! Had the jalapeño cheddar burger and it was awesome. A place we like to come to whenever we're in town!
